moment. On March 21st, World Poetry Day, our global
event invites people to put their phone aside, get
inspired to write a poem, and use it to pay for their
cup of coffee or tea.

 TERMS & CONDITIONS On World Poetry Day,
visit a participating location. Write a poem and use it to pay
for your coffee or tea. On top of that you can grab the chance to win 1 of 6
"Meet & Greets" with Julius Meinl ambassador and
singer-songwriterTom Odell in Glasgow, on June the 1st.
Just snap a photo of your poem and post it
on Instagram using the hashtag #PayWithaPoem

On world Poetry Day, go to a participating location.

Write a poem and use it to pay for your coffee or tea.

On top of that you can grab the chance to win 1 of 6 „Meet & Greets” with Julius Meinl ambassador and  singer songwriter Tom Odell in Glasgow, on June the 1st.  Just snap a photo of your poem and post it on Instagram using the hashtag #PayWithaPoem.

Suntem într-o graba continua, alergam dintr-un loc in altul, realizand nenumarate sarcini. Adesea uitam sa admiram ceea ce este in jurul nostru. Daca am constientiza cat de mult ne apropie o simpla cafea ☕️ ... fara telefon, fara emailuri, fara sarcini de serviciu. Danas je i Svjetski dan poezije! Volim poeziju, iako je zadnjih godina nisam pisao baš, čitam je i nekako mislim da je ona baš temelj književnosti. Bez poezije nema književnosti! juliusmeinlcroatia inspirira pjesnike od 1862. godine. Kava i pisanje savršeno se povezuju, a kada meni ponestane inspiracije za pisanje, ja upravo posežem za kavom. Zato se apsolutno slažem da kava inspirira! Café du matin au Miroir, petit café à l'angle du quai Louis XVIII et de la place Jean Jaurès. Au carrefour de l'histoire, entre Royauté et Socialisme, reflet de l'aventure sans fin du pays. La tasse est différente, avec un profil, silhouette rouge représentant un jeune garçon portant un fez. Ce café est celui de Julius Meinl, industriel Autrichien, premier à produire et distribuer du café grillé dès 1862. Maison familiale, c'est aujourd'hui la cinquième génération qui la dirige, un des plus importants distributeurs, en Autriche, Italie et autres pays Européens. En 2014 pour la journée internationale de la poésie, la maison Julius Meinl a lancé une campagne "Pay with a poem", incitant les gens à payer leur café avec quelques mots, avec un poème. #AD - Pentru mine Ziua Cafelei e in fiecare zi, dimineata, la pranz si uneori dupa job 😊 Din cand in cand mai merge si un ceai, mai ales in zilele mai reci..hmm azi e rece🧣. Dar astazi va invit sa luati pe cineva de mana sau pe dupa umeri si sa iesiti la o plimbare cu Tramvaiul Poeziei, care circula pe ruta tramvaiului 1, pana la 01 octombrie și transforma fiecare calatorie intr-un moment de relaxare. Acesta va va intampina cu decoruri speciale, carti de poezie, cafea, muzica si multe surprize din partea Julius Meinl. Nu uita ca pe 1 octombrie sã te lasi inspirat in timp ce-ti savurezi cafeaua. Pay with a Poem || Maxime Buchi Sang Bleu (sangbleu) founder and tattoo artist Maxime Buchi (mxmtt) has teamed up with coffee shop Julius Meinl (juliusmeinlofficial) for an event called Pay with a Poem. The event will take place on March 21st, which is World Poetry Day, and aid Julius Meinl in an ongoing mission to ignite creativity and optimism across the globe. During Pay with a Poem, the Vienna-based coffee shop will allow patrons to receive a complimentary coffee or tea in exchange for an original piece of poetry. Julius Meinl developed the promotion in response to a survey revealing that more than 80 per cent of people feel disillusioned by the state of the modern world, and a similar per centage sees creativity as an antidote to this pessimism. Buchi, who has come on board as a global ambassador, said in a statement, “Designing a tattoo, clothes, publishing or teaching proceed from the same vision, and so does writing and composition. Techniques are means, poetry is the end.”
