This exotic blend is created by mixing black teas with delicious spice like cinnamon, star anise and cloves. The rich taste is sublimated with a sweet vanilla note. Perfect to enjoy with a dash of milk.

Did you know?

In India “chai” simply means tea. In the West though, it refers specifically to a spiced Indian-style tea which is a tea with traditional Indian spices and milk.

Try this spicy and creamy treat:

Chai Latte "Namaste Style"

  • 2 Julius Meinl “Vanilla Chai” Leaf Bags
  • 150 ml boiling water
  • 1 heaped teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • 2 cardamom pods OR 1 pinch of cardamom powder
  • 2 cloves
  • Milk foam

Prepare the Chai tea with 150ml of fresh boiling water. Let it steep for 6 minutes. In the meantime prepare milk foam. Mix the infusion, cloves, cardamom and cinnamon. Fill a glass with milk foam. Then carefully add the tea. Feel free to put a bit of cinnamon powder or spices on top.
