Julius Meinl coffee rules

  • Water hardness: from 6 to 8° dH
  • Pump pressure: 9 bars
  • Brewing temperature: 90 – 95 °C
  • Coffee temperature in cup: 82 – 84 °C
  • Appropriate grind setting for the coffee machine Always grind immediately before brewing Dosage: 6 – 8 grams
  • Leave the filter basket with the ground coffee in the machine to retain the temperature
  • Careful cleaning of all parts that come into contact with the beans and beverage
  • Always pre-heat the coffee cup
  • Milk temperature when steaming: 62 – 65 °C
