Julius Meinl Coffee
Julius Meinl coffee is a top-quality treat! We have been roasting coffee in Vienna since 1862. Our coffee embodies the classical Viennese coffeehouse experience: absolute top quality, long-standing tradition and classical Viennese coffee culture. From 1862 until the turn of that century, Julius Meinl roasted coffee in each store separately. Later Julius Meinl built a state-of-the-art roasting plant in Vienna’s 16th district. The Meinl family’s careful selection of green coffees in their countries of origin, as well as expert handling of coffee in the Julius Meinl roasting plants are part of the secret of our success.
Julius Meinl Coffee is the Original and the trend-brand amongst coffee lovers. Julius Meinl is synonymous with Viennese Coffeehouse Culture.
Caffè del Moro, one of the leading coffee brands in Northern Italy, is a proud member of the Julius Meinl Group since 1955. It is Italian Espresso of the highest quality. Since its founding in Bolzano (Bozen) in 1950, Caffè del Moro has been one of the most popular espresso brands in the Austrian and Italian Food and Beverage Industry. The natural alpine spring water from the Southern Alps and the sunny climate of the foothills require uncompromising quality beans, carefully selected blending as well as a precisely controlled darker roasting process.
Crem Caffé, founded in 1951 in Trieste, quickly developed into one of the leading coffee brands within Italy. Since 2003 Crem Caffé is part of the Julius Meinl Group. The high quality demands and the tradition of Crem Caffé are an ideal addition to the existing Julius Meinl brands. The darker roast, which produces less acidity in the coffee beans, is reason for the typical Italian taste of Crem Caffé coffee. We produce Crem Caffé coffees in our Italian roasting plant following the original Crem Caffé recipes.
